Clinical Corner: Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM)

Websites and Articles

The following websites are well recognized for providing up to date information on complementary and alternative medicine (CAM).  Complementary medicine does not replace traditional medicine, but may augment therapy when traditional medicine can longer fully help the individual circumstances.  There is a growing body of evidence that demonstrate the value of complementary medicine in appropriate circumstances.  Alternative medicine is often used to replace traditional medicine, and its value is far less certain.
