Liability Update
Congress adjourned without acting on tort reform,
among other issues, but state legislatures continue to act on the
issue, most recently Mississippi.
Washington insiders are not optimistic about federal
action so we may be shifting our focus to the state level as well,
working closely with the American Health Care Association state
affiliates.
More on this as we move into our work plans and strategies for next year.
Keep us posted on any action in your states. Visit our new liability section on our web site at www.amda.com/federalaffairs/liability.
