Handheld CPG Applications
AMDA will be offering Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) in a
handheld computer application. They will provide all of the content of
the paper copies in an easy to use and navigate design. The handheld
CPGs will allow quick reference to text sections, section tables, and
the treatment algorithm. New and innovative functionality will include
the ability to record a patient session while navigating and being
guided through the care algorithm. The session data will be able to be
synchronized to a desktop PC for printing and more efficient patient
interaction and record keeping.
"Pain Management in the Long-Term Care Setting" is the first CPG
available in this format. Members are able to purchase this product at
