State Chapter Receptions
AMDA has again received a generous grant from Johnson & Johnson
Long Term Care Group in support of the state chapter meetings during
our Annual Symposium in Atlanta. Space for state chapters to conduct
business meetings is being held at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis on
Friday, March 16th from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Because we have such a full
program, this is the only time our schedule allows the state chapters
to meet. You are welcome to use as much of the meeting time as you
need. Please be advised that several corporate chains will be hosting
events that same evening beginning at 7:30 pm.
AMDA is happy to arrange a light reception with snacks, beer and
wine at a maximum cost of $1,000. If you wish to have something more
elaborate, your chapter will be asked to cover the additional costs.
Because we have received a grant from Johnson & Johnson LTC Group,
we must discourage you from seeking outside support from industry
representatives. Alternatively, if you prefer to have your event funded
by a local industry sponsor, you will be responsible for all logistical
arrangements and costs.
To secure a room, please complete the State Chapter Meeting Space Request Form
and return it to Megan Brey no later than December 29, 2000. Space at
the hotel is limited and state chapters may need to share rooms in
order to accommodate everyone. If you are willing to pair up with
another chapter, please note this on the form.
