Getting the Word Out
Please mention the symposium dates in your newsletters and encourage your state members to register and join AMDA.
Remember that not all state chapter
members are members of AMDA. AMDA members receive discounted
registration fees and increase your state's representation in the House
of Delegates.

The meeting will feature many events involving state chapters, including:
- State Presidents Roundtables and Business Meeting,
Wednesday, March 14 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
- House of Delegates Luncheon Briefing (Delegates only),
Thursday, March 15 from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm.
- State Chapter Support Staff Meeting,
Thursday, March 15 from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
- State Chapter Receptions/Meetings,
Friday, March 16 from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm.
- State Presidents Council Breakfast,
Saturday, March 17 from 6:30 am - 8:00 am.
- House of Delegates Meeting (Delegates only),
Saturday, March 17 from 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm.
In order to have all of these meetings run as smoothly as possible, we
need your input and cooperation. Please read the information included
in this newsletter carefully and save it for future reference.

Delegates Needed
Preparation is crucial to being able to accomplish the HOD's business. Prompt registration of delegates is important.
Resolutions, Policy Papers, and Position Statements
All resolutions, policy papers, and position statements should be submitted as soon as possible.
State Chapter Roundtables and Business Meeting
Looking for volunteers to identify topics to be presented at the State Chapter Roundtables and Business Meeting.
State Chapter Receptions
Space for state chapters to conduct business meetings is being held at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis on Friday, March 16th.
State Chapter Connections Booth
In response to your requests, a prime location has been reserved in the exhibit hall at the annual meeting for state chapters.
Foundation Launches AMDA Futures Program
This new program offers residents and fellows an opportunity to learn about careers in long term care.
2001 Nominating Committee
State chapters are encouraged to submit candidates for national office.
CMD Credit for State Chapter Meetings
State Chapters can submit their meetings for approval to award CMD credit hours.
Directors & Officers Insurance Program
In response to inquiries from state chapters regarding inclusion on the national office's Directors and Officers Insurance Plan.
AMDA.COM Update
Two new features added. Also, coming soon: online CME and new web-based tools.
