AMDA.COM Update
Call for Presentations Online
The Call for Presentations for AMDA's 2003 Annual Symposium
has been published online. Interested parties can complete and submit
all forms online (printable forms are also available). Submission
deadline is August 2, 2002.
Submission guidelines and forms are available at www.amda.com/call2003.
CPT Central
We have developed a new section of the AMDA web site--CPT Central--that
is dedicated to providing information on CPT coding in long term care.
CPT Central features descriptions of the CPT codes for nursing facility
services, domiciliary services, home care services, and care plan
oversight; frequently-asked coding questions; articles; links to coding
resources; and a form to submit coding questions to AMDA.
Visit CPT Central at www.amda.com/cptcentral.
Find the Medicare 2002 Physician Fee Schedule for Your State
Another new section on the AMDA web site focuses on the Medicare 2002 Physician Fee Schedule,
including news, updates, and links to CMS documents. It also includes a
unique feature that allows users to search the 2002 Physician Fee
Schedule by state.
Find your state's 2002 Fee Schedule by visiting www.amda.com/federalaffairs/feeschedule.
A summary of the Proposed Rule for the 2003 Physician Fee Schedule is also available at www.amda.com/federalaffairs/feeschedule2003.htm.
Coming Soon: AMDA Discussion Board and New Portal Tools
We are currently developing an online discussion board that will
allow members to communicate directly with one another via the web. We
are also preparing to launch several new Portal tools that will add
e-commerce functionality and personal information access to the web
site. Visit AMDA's home page for the latest information.
If you have any questions or comments about AMDA's web site, please
contact Patrick Drews, Web Coordinator, at 410/992-3114 or e-mail to patdrews@amda.com.
