Earn AMDA CMD Credits for Your State Chapter Meeting
State Chapters are encouraged to apply for AMDA CMD credit for their chapter
meetings. By receiving approval to award AMDA CMD credits your meeting
participants will earn AMDA CMD credit hours that they can use toward
completion of requirements to become or remain a
Certified Medical Director in Long Term
Care.
If you wish to apply for AMDA CMD credit hours, please submit the
following information at least 30 days prior to your first promotional
mailing:
- A copy of the preliminary program, including specific sessions and speakers;
- A statement of the educational objectives of the
course, which must be included in the final program. This is a
description of what the registrant will gain by attending the course;
- A list of faculty members;
- At the conclusion of the course: a copy of the
final program, a list of names and addresses of participants, and a
summary of participant evaluation responses; and
- Course review fee of $50.00 (check made payable to the AMDCP).
AMDA staff can help with speakers. Dr. Osterweil, editor of JAMDA, and
others are available to speak at your meeting.
