State Chapters Applaud the National Office

According to a survey that the Membership Team conducted at AMDA's Annual Symposium in March, we are doing an excellent job. The survey, which was administered to state chapter presidents and assistants was intended to evaluate the relationship between state chapters and the national office. We received 26 responses: 58% of total chapters.

The survey showed that 20 state chapter representatives felt that overall services are excellent, and all said that the staff has been knowledgeable and able to assist with their needs. Twenty-five agreed that the national office responds promptly. Twenty-two individuals feel that the communication between the national office and state chapters has improved. With regards to our newsletters, 18 said that the State Network News and Health Policy Advisor are highly informative.

State chapters identified joint marketing and dues collection as areas for improvement for the national office.
