Registration Fees

$55 for members
$75 for non-members
$20 guests (up to three per computer connection)

Each registered attendee can have up to three guests share their computer connection and share their computer screen to participate in the webinar. Registrants must submit an additional $20 fee and provide the guest(s) names at the time of registration for the webinar. Only one computer connection is provided per registration, no exceptions.

Target Audience

Medical Directors, Attending Physicians, Advanced Practitioners

Objectives

  • find resources on the web for e/m documentation and Medicare guidelines
  • identify the basis for choosing correct e/m level for nursing facility visit codes
  • list the nursing facility visit code options with criteria for documentation

Recording and Handouts

One week after the live webinar presentation, links to the webinar handouts, and links to tools and resources for billing and coding in Long Term Care will be e-mailed to each registered attendee. AMDA records the live webinar to create enduring online materials. Where a viable recording is made, a link to that recording will be included in the tools and resources e-mail.

Accreditation Statement

The American Medical Directors Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CME Designation Statement

AMDA designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

CMD Designation Statement

This program has been approved for 1.5 live hours in management education credits toward certification/recertification as a Certified Medical Director in Long Term Care (AMDA CMD).  Physicians should only claim credit for the number of hours they participated in the educational activity.  The AMDA CMD program is administered by the American Medical Directors Certification Program (AMDCP).

Claiming Credits
