What's New in CMD News - December 2006

  • The Certification Board of Directors reviews and assigns credit hours toward CMD to AMDA chapter courses and national programs upon application (http://www.amda.com/certification/cmdcredit.cfm). Beginning January 1, 2007, credit hours toward CMD will be awarded only for those topic areas that are management / leadership oriented.

  • Remember to include your CMD credential along with other degrees on practice letterhead and business cards, articles for publication, abstracts submitted for presentations or anywhere you provide your name and credentials.

  • Proudly display your CMD Diploma and Decal at all of your facilities. Need additional copies?

  • To help train surveyors, CMS has recently purchased copies of the entire set of AMDA Clinical Practice Guidelines. Distribution sites include every regional office throughout the US. http://www.amda.com/tools/guidelines.cfm
