James Pattee Award for Excellence in Education
The James Pattee Award for Excellence in Education recognizes significant contributions to the educational goals of AMDA (to enhance the educational structure and framework of AMDA, to advance education specific to long term care physician practice, and to promote AMDA leadership via educational endeavors within the long term care continuum).
Nominees must be:
- A physician in good standing with the community and our profession
- Active in the field of long term care
- AMDA member in good standing
All nominations are reviewed by a Selection Committee. Each award recipient will be honored at the Annual Long Term Care Medicine Conference. Recipients are also recognized in AMDA publications and news releases.
We will begin taking nominations for the 2011 award at the end of September.
